Mahatma Gandhi's death
Gandhi died in Delhi, in the Birla Mandir, on 30th January 1948
when he was attending a prayer meeting.
He was shot to death by a Hindu fanatic by name Nathuram Ghocse who
was aginst his efforts to heal the hostilities between Hindus and Muslims.
